Silver Theory Editions – Logo

Silver Theory Editions does high quality photo lab work for demanding photographers. Among the clients is Magnum member Jacob Aue Sobol. Silver Theory Editions is run by Andreas Olesen.

The silver in the name refers to silver halides, the light sensitive chemicals used in photographic film and paper. The logo is a schematic representation of a silver lattice in a black circle, referring directly to the matter at hand – silver, photographic work. It has satisfyingly ambiguous qualities: It can look archaic and slightly menacing, but also harmonic, almost poetic.
