Flat Classics – Entire Books as Posters

A selection af classic literary works in poster form. All contain the full, unabridged text from an authoritative edition (mostly provided by the wonderful archive,net). Warying in sizes according to book lenght and typographical choises, they measure from … x … fro the smallest to the largest, James Joyce’s Ulysses, measuring 160 x 110 cm, as shown above. All text is set in comfortable reading sizes around 10 pts. 

The poster format offers an immediate overview of the work, an understanding of its overall structure and size that is difficult to get in book form. It invites a non-linear navigation, an opportunity to experience a (loved) book in a new way.
