Zen og kunsten at vedligeholde en motorcykel – Book cover, Gyldendal

Robert M. Pirsig’s classic Zen og kunsten at vedligeholde en motorcykel (yes: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance) has been reissued by Gyldendal after years of being unavailable in Danish.

The cover is based on the beauty of technical drawings and the incredible complexity of a motorcycle – a key metaphor of the book. Both the front and back feature isometric drawings from a Honda CB77 maintenance manual – the bike that Robert M. Pirsig supposedly rode, though the model is never mentioned in the book. All drawings are printed in a very light grey with spot UV varnish.
